Meer over Forgotten Fantasy Nowadays people with the same interests can easily connect with each other over the internet. Renato (keys) and Bart (guitar) also got in to touch (September 2005) after Bart replied on a message from Renato and Chantal (ex-vocals) who we’re looking for a guitar player who could beef up their music.
In this period Forgotten Fantasy was born and we recorded No Words which sounded great at the time. We also found a drummer and practiced a couple of times. However, things weren’t going that smoothly. The drummer decided to quit due to time constraints and the whole band got in to slow motion.
Since then Renato and Bart kept talking about music and their ambitions. Around February 2007 Bart got an idea to ask Bob if he wanted to drum for Forgotten Fantasy. Bart and Bob knew each other trough a mutual friend, namely Koen. In the same time Forgotten Fantasy also was looking for a bass player to complete the formation. Again via the electronic route Bart started talking with Patrick who just suffered from a band break up.
Anyhow, Renato, Bob, Patrick (bass), Bart and, Nadine (vocals) who came along with Patrick so to say, started to rehearse and the ball started to roll again. After 2 or 3 meetings Forgotten Fantasy decided it was best to continue without Patrick. Well without a bass you can’t call yourself a band so the search went on. 1,5 month later we found Hajo (bass).
At this point we’re confident that this formation has the potential to be creative with covers and in song writing.
